WarDevil, Digi-Guys’ 2005-announced hack-and-slash action game said to run in full 1080p at 60fps, is “still in development”, Ignition New Business Development Director, Shane Bettenhausen, has confirmed during E3.
“We also have a studio in London. Their game was previously announced, it’s called WarDevil,” Bettenhausen told Siliconera during an interview about El Shaddai. “That’s been in development for quite sometime. I’d would say the game is still in development, but it’s changed direction a bit.”
Its reveal isn’t too far off, either.
“It will be revealed, hopefully, by the end of the year, the new direction that is.”
The last we heard of WarDevil before this was a tease for an October 2009 reveal that never happened. Hopefully, this “new direction” will actually get a reveal this time.
