Ubisoft: “We know exactly what we’re doing” with Assassin’s Creed
by [@salromano] at 10:22 AM EDT, June 22, 2010 .

If there’s anyone out there that thinks Ubisoft is making up this whole Assassin’s Creed thing as they go, then they’re dead wrong. The developer has said at E3 that they know “exactly” what they’re doing with the franchise.

“We have a couple of ideas where we want to go; actually we’re very very sure where we’re going,” associate producer Jean-Francois Boivin told IncGamers.

“I’m not going to hint at ANYTHING, anything at all. I’m sorry, but we know exactly what we’re doing with this license for sure.”

While Boivin wouldn’t hint at a thing for the next game, he did provide some new information on Ezio in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

“Ezio is a little bit older, a little bit wiser, he’s still a ladies’ man, but we’re going to see him; well not settle down, but find somebody he really really likes…”

If Ezio is Desmond’s ancestor, that must mean Ezio would have to settle down sometime, right?

    • Wherever it’s set, if what we’re seeing in AC2 is to be believed, the story will take place in present day.
