Sony’s released a FAQ answering all your questions that you may have for the upcoming “evolving” PlayStation Network premium service, PlayStation Plus. The FAQ covers topics including games, discounts, exclusive offers, full game trials, and the automatic downloads that you’ll get by subscribing to the service.

The service will be available for purchase through the PlayStation Store on June 29 for either $49.99 for a year (and three free months) or $17.99 for three months.

Those who don’t want to subscribe to the service, your current PlayStation Network features, such as free online play, will not be affected.

PlayStation Plus does not include cross game voice chat. According to Sony, it “is a feature we know our passionate user base has asked for and we’ll continue to look at as a viable offering for the PlayStation Network.”

I have every intention of signing up only because I want to make sure I have access to as much content as possible.

I don’t think i will sing up for it. The only thing i need is cross-game chat, and it’s not included. For me free PSN is enough. But still, nice feature.
