Metal Gear Solid: Rising producer “experimenting” with motion control
by [@salromano] at 10:22 AM EDT, June 18, 2010 .

Metal Gear Solid: Rising pretty much looks like it’s made to work with motion controls, doesn’t it? So how about some Move and Kinect support, then?

During an interview with creative producer Shigenobu Matsuyama and director Mineshi Kimura, the team confirmed they are looking into it.

“We are – yes — experimenting on both [Move and Kinect],” Matsuyama told IGN.com, via a translator.

I could already see how this would work with Move, but I’m not so sure how it would fare with Kinect. What do you think?

Seems like a beautiful game to operate with the Move.

Exactly what I was thinking. A game like this seems destined to be on Move.

Don’t they say, MGS: Rising is going to be Xbox360 exclusive?

    • Nope. It’s multiplatform. It’s for 360, PS3, and PC. That was just a common misconception when it was first announced at last year’s E3 during the Microsoft media briefing. Everyone assumed since it was announced there, it was only for Xbox 360. The press release sent out a day later proved that wrong.
