Level 5 announces Ni no Kuni for PS3
by [@salromano] at 08:54 PM EDT, June 22, 2010 .

Update: We’ve added some higher quality scans below the post.

Original: In a shocking issue of Famitsu, Level 5 has announced that the DS action role-playing game Ninokuni: The Another World is coming to PlayStation 3 with accelerated graphics. It’s the developer’s game in conjunction with famed Studio Ghibli, whom you may know as creators of Disney’s 2009 movie Ponyo.

No details yet, but here are the (terrible quality) scans. Level 5 is to have a conference regarding the game sometime this week. There are a few gameplay screenshots in there, clearly complimenting Studio Ghibli with it’s use of cel-shaded graphics. They look gorgeous.

Wow, this makes me very happy. Love Studio Ghibli and very happy to see this game reach a living room console.

very nice to hear/see. Although I thought for sure it would’ve been on the Wii for Wii/DS compatibility or something
