Kinect gets first videos
by [@salromano] at 08:36 AM EDT, June 14, 2010 .

The first two video clips of Xbox 360′s Kinect camera have been released this morning, revealing both a trailer for the software and a TV spot.

The trailer has footage of some of the new games that I saw at last night’s “Experience Project Natal” event in Los Angeles. The river-rafting and track and field games are just two of them.

Check out the clips below. Stay tuned for Microsoft’s E3 media briefing later this morning.

Are you serious! No offense but do you really think that game was 1:1 with that rhythm and swagger deficient White family?

If I had to guess I’d say that wasn’t even a real game but instead more concept footage of what games “could” be like.

    o….m….g….

Those videos showed everthing I was afraid of with Natal. The only demo that was decent was the dance one as I could see that working well, but other than that…..no…just, no…

So the commercial was about a car wreck but that’s the only way to accurately describe both videos.

I think MS just s*** the bed with this product. It doesn’t look like fun and you need an airplane hanger sized living room to actually enjoy it.

So every person that plays this thing has a 20′ x 40′ sized living room? Great. So much for you apartment/condo dwellers. Maybe you can get some extension cords and play outside.

This does not interest me at all, it’s different yes, but not my kind of gaming.

I get enough exercise where i live, Controller will always be my no1 choice.

I’ve made a promise to myself that if Kinect type gameplay is the future for gaming than i’ll give up games altogether lol.
