Even though Microsoft failed to reveal a price at their press briefing this morning, it looks like someone else is doing it for them.
Gamestop.com has posted several listings, including a standalone SKU for Kinect and two system bundles. The unit by itself is listed at $149.99… pretty steep for an accessory. The company is also taking pre-orders on two flavors of hardware bundles, including a $299 deal that comes with an Arcade 360, and one that comes with an Elite at $399. Neither listing provide any real details outside of a brief description of the Kinect device itself.
It’s also worth noting that several games such as Kinect Sports and Kinect Adventures! are listed at a $60 price point. All of this information generally comes from a vendor, so it is more than likely legitimate.

We all knew that was probably the price for the kinect. You save 50 buying the bundle, but for me I wont shell out that money.
As of right now, too high a price for what Ive seen the kinect to do an be.
Based on the comments I’ve been reading on other gaming sites I think the ratio was 10:1 for those that would NOT buy Kinect at this price.
I don’t own a 360 anyway but if I did I doubt I’d spend another $150 bucks based on the quality of the demos that have been shown so far.
Can’t wait to get back home to watch the G4TV coverage to see what they’re saying about it.
