EA: No Respawn announcement at E3

After news broke yesterday that Call of Duty creators Jason West and Vince Zampella’s new studio Respawn will be making a “big time” announcement at E3, Electronic Arts has confirmed today that these claims are incorrect.

The mega publisher confirmed Respawn’s absence to IGN, who suggest the Facebook page the story originated from as a blatant fake.

Makes sense. How could the studio show something after being established for only two months?
