Original: Recent rumors going around in Japan suggest a new game in the Tales series is on the way to PlayStation 3 for a launch in Japan this holiday season.
Tales of Unitia, as it’s being rumored (and if my translation is correct), is already a registered trademark of Namco Bandai. It’s release is supposedly to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the series – hitting store shelves on December 15, 2010 for 7800 yen.
I have been searching for the source of these rumors, but have yet to find anything. A lot of Japanese blogs have been reporting this, though, and it seems interesting enough to be looked into.
If they’re true, it would certainly mix well with Namco Bandai’s recently released fiscal 2011 plans, where they plan to publish thirteen PlayStation 3 games and eight Xbox 360 games.
I’ll keep searching and update on anything I find.

Wow finally. I hope this is true because namco has been very quiet this year, espescially with” tales of” news. Plus this is for the ps3 can’t wait.

all im gonna say is don’t hype yourselves up over this bc u know what happened last time when they announced a certain tales game ( tales of vesperia ) we never got a U.S release date
