Source: Killzone 3 set for 2011
Killzone 3 is scheduled to release in May 2011, if a source close to Sony Computer Entertainment’s European headquarters is to be believed.
The source also claims that the first-person shooter will feature various types or cooperative modes, including four player co-op.
“Guerrilla is working on a standard two-player, co-op – as you’d expect,” the source told CVG, “but there’s also an objective-based separate four-player co-op mode in the works, too.”
There will be exciting new aspects to the online multiplayer, as well.
“I’ve also been told that there will be vehicles in the online multiplayer – but I haven’t seen that for myself yet.”
Sony’s response to this when contacted for confirmation was the average “no comment”.
