With Kevin Butler teasing his next project as “Man Furismo Jive” in the most recent ModNation Racers clip right before E3, it’s safe to assume an announcement is on the way. If that’s not good enough, Sony Computer Entertainment Germany’s product manager Stefan Dettmering has told German gaming site GameTrust that the release date announcement is only “weeks away”.
“We know that the fans are waiting for it and we want to release it too,” Dettmering told GamesTrust. “I think that it’s more painful for us than for the fans that we couldn’t hold the last date. The next time we announce a release date we’ll be one-hundred per cent sure that we can hold it and won’t make the mistake we did with the March date.”
SCEJ announced a Japanese release date March 2010 back in September 2009. It ended up getting another delay.
“You just have to wait a little longer until we announce a new date, only some days…or weeks.”
