Sony explains why Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2 weren’t saved for E3

Yesterday’s Killzone 3 announcement and the prior LittleBigPlanet 2 reveal are a pretty big deal, if you ask me. With E3 so close, it makes you wonder why Sony didn’t just wait until the show to announce the two sequels.
Finally, we have an explanation.
“Our PR team will have their reasons,” SCEE content producer James Gallagher said in a response on the PlayStation.Blog comments section, “we have a lot of games in the pipeline and it’s logistically easier to space them out a bit, I suppose. Plus, it makes sure they get some good media coverage before the information avalanche of E3.”
Does this just get you even more excited for E3? It certainly raised my expectations.

Really makes you wonder what they could possibly have to talk about. With Move, LBP 2, K3 and other games like Agent and FFXIV announced last year what else do they have left that will be a surprised that’s exclusive to the PS3?
I’m sure publishers like EA, Ubisoft, Capcom and such may have a few surprises up their sleeves but unless they’re announcing PS3 exclusives Sony’s show will basically be getting information on what we already know.
Then again maybe they really do have some huge surprises. Thankfully we only have a few weeks before we find out.
Sony please we need a full scale RPG, i know i know, WKC2 its one rpg, but we need a classic turn based rpg, can be Legend of Legaia 3, Legend of Dragoon 2, Grandia 4 (call Game Arts), Lunar 3 (again call Game Arts), or any other, a new IP could work too (again call Game Arts).
