The most recent issue of the Official Xbox Magazine has it on good word that an Xbox 360 slim announcement and a new Perfect Dark is in the pipeline.
By “good word”, I’m talking about rumors, folks.
“With Gears of War 3 out in April 2011, what will Microsoft have for holiday 2011?” the magazine wrote. “The Ball sees a redheaded girl in a spandex suit. … A slimmer, redesigned 360 to be revealed at E3? Don’t bet on it until the fall, when it’s part of the Project Natal rollout. Expecting a 360 dashboard redesign to accompany Project Natal? Don’t hold your breath, says the ball. ”
Earlier this month, CheapAssGamer’s head honcho CheapyD said that a “thinner Xbox is happening” at this year’s E3, saying it would be “black” and “small”. These new rumors only add onto the only confirmation we may get before the show.

If Microsoft doesn’t include wifi I think I’ll scream bloody murder!
If not I’ll remain Xbox-less until they do. I refuse to pay $100 for a wifi adapter and I think it’s an insult not to include it.
The fact that the 360 is the same price as a PS3 but has controllers that require batteries, requires you to pay $50 a year to play with friends or use Netflix and is still a standard DVD player (let’s not forget the jet noise it produces when it’s on) is already a joke but to not include wifi is a complete kick in the balls to consumers.
I might actually pick up the Slim model if it happens, although as incredibilistic says it needs to be more than just a nicer looking Xbox for me to splash the cash.
As for a new Perfect Dark, I’m up for it! I know PDZ was really love/hate but I personally got into it quite a bit.
