This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo is set to be one of the biggest shows yet and with the hype and anticipation spreading like wildfire, me and once-in-a-blue-moon writer Matt decided to sit down and talk about the upcoming show and what to expect from this year’s event.
There’s a lot we discuss: Move, Natal, Sony, Microsoft, and third-party publishers. All of this in a series of seven videos that overall last about an hour long.
I know. What the hell were we thinking? This was originally intended to last ten minutes, but we got a just a bit carried away.

I really enjoyed the video’s, some great discussions; made me feel I wanted to join in. It looked great in 480p too and I’m sure it’ll be even better in 1080 in the future.
My views on some of the things discussed (I was actually taking notes while watching!)
One thing which really struck me was the Silent Hill FPS rumor. As a fan of the series, I am really unsure of what to make of that. I remember back in 2004 (i think), Konami set off a similar rumor about an SH FPS, saying something like “I wonder what fans would think of a first person Silent Hill game”? I thought at the time that I wasnt sure, but now with it coming back into the limelight…its…odd. Also with the success of Alan Wake this SH needs to be something brilliant imo to stand up to it.
I’m totally stoked for the rumors of this new Valkyrie Profile as well, as long as it IS VP3 and not another spin off type game. The first two were great (though I admit I only played VP1 on PSP).
As for Natal, I always thought the word was a adjective referring to a birth, which would make sense as in the “birth” of a new controller/way to play. Anyway, as I think I said on the actual article, the name Wave sounds fine to me.
Anyway, Ive too much to say to put it all in this box, so Ill leave some stuff for the actual articles. So, fantastic video, such a great idea. I watched the whole lot in one go and it got me really hyped for the coming E3. Keep up the great work guys!
