Gearbox Software, the devs behind Borderlands, currently has three unannounced titles in development, according to their website. Today, a potential name for one of those titles may have been revealed. Z-Day.

The developer trademarked Z-Day just recently for use with computre game software and action/adventure based motion pictures. If this is the name of what their working on, then they probably have big plans for it – if they’re already considering a movie.

As to what it is? A zombie first-person shooter, I suppose. They’ve already showed their love for zombies with the ‘Zombie Island’ DLC for Borderlands. Why not make a full game out of it?

Plus, they’re all the rage nowadays.
