Infinity Ward developing new Call of Duty title

Activision chief operating officer Thomas Tippl has said in today’s financial call that Infinity Ward is definitely working on a new title in the Call of Duty series. This is despite many of Infinity Ward’s staffers leaving for Call of Duty creators’ newly-formed Respawn Studios.

Tippl did not comment on whether or not it’ll arrive in 2011. We doubt it, as it’s already been confirmed Sledgehammer’s action/adventure Call of Duty is scheduled to arrive that year.

We’ll keep you updated as/if more comes in.
