Square Enix has announced the North American release date for Double Helix Games’ Front Mission Evolved today. The “riveting” third-person shooter will launch on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 14, 2010.
Front Mission Evolved takes place over 150 years into the future. Players step in the shoes of Dynal Ramsey as he suits up in a giant mechanical tank known as a wanzer. Wanzers are equipped with extreme firepower capable of high destruction. Ramsey must fight through areas like New York City in “heart-pounding, large-scale action unlike anything [you've] ever seen before.”
The game offers a single-player campaign, four multiplayer modes, and the ability for players to customize their own wanzers.
