Call of Duty: Black Ops debut trailer

GameTrailers TV promised the debut trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops and they delivered. In it, you’ll see plenty of jungles, snow, helicopters, a guy wearing an astronaut helmet, and plenty of explosions. I think it’s safe to say that you’ll be taken to all the Cold War hot spots.
Notice on the hospital bed, or wherever this on laying down is, there’s a clock that has a 2010 date on it. Peculiar, indeed.
Call of Duty: Black Ops launches for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 9, 2010.

I still think it’s too soon to release yet another game in this series.
They run the risk of turning the Call of Duty franchise into the next Tony Hawk and flooding the market with basically the same game over and over again with little to no innovation.
Even the latest game was basically a palette swap of uniforms and locations.
Maybe the story will actually be engaging this time. The last game’s single player campaign was a joke in terms of story progression and character development.
Trailer looks good though but then again so did CoD4′s trailer.
Regarding your “too soon” comment: nothing’s changed in the Call of Duty release schedule since almost, well, ever. The only real gap was between Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 which was only two years.
Black Ops – November 9, 2010
Modern Warfare 2 – November 10, 2009
World At War – November 11, 2008
Modern Warfare – November 6, 2007
CoD 3 – November 7, 2006
CoD 2 – November 15, 2005
CoD – October 23, 2003
If anything, I think they just announced it too soon.
