Ubisoft support lists Splinter Cell: Conviction for PS3

The rumors just won’t stop for Ubisoft and Splinter Cell: Conviction. After two resume listings saying Conviction would come to PlayStation 3, now even the Ubisoft support site is listing the game for the Sony console.
As this was sent in, I went ahead and double-checked the other sections such as Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii to make sure there weren’t any game listings for either platform that weren’t announced. We’re good on that end.
Even though this may just be a support site listing, it just adds more fuel to the fire for Splinter Cell: Conviction on PlayStation 3. Hell, GamesRadar has even nailed down a future release date.
Thanks, Giovanni!

So far the reviews have been pretty good but also a bit disappointing that the campaign is so short and the fact that this isn’t Splinter Cell at all but actually entirely new game and character.
Still, I’d love to play it and would love for it to come to dark (console) side.
I’m playing through it currently on 360 and I’m really enjoying it thus far. You are correct however in that this SC is different from the previous titles, though ultimately I feel it may work to it’s advantage (Ive not finished the game yet).
The length comments I have read on forums and in the Gamespot review seem very exaggerated from where I am in the game, though this may be due to my general habits of ‘taking things in’ and playing at a slow, absorbing pace. That said I am already over the ’5 hours’ estimate that was mentioned in these topics, so generally I feel it’s a bit of a moot point.
I haven’t touch the online as of yet, though I will be before too long. There is also this ‘deniable ops’ mode which I had a quick look at, but Im not sure what its all about yet.
Id say definately pick it up if it does happen to come to PS3.
