Darkstalkers IV has been on gamers’ wanted list for some time now. The game’s producer Yoshinori Ono has expressed his desire to create a new entry in the series in the past, but pleaded for support from the Capcom community.

More recently, at Captivate 2010, Ono has revealed his desperation to create the game.

“I am desperate to make this game,” Ono told VGD in excitement at Captivate 2010.

“I always try and talk about Vampire (Darkstalkers‘ Japanese name) during interviews because I want to show Capcom that there is a demand for a new game.”
