Final Fantasy IX confirmed for Japanese PSN
Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto promised an announcement regarding a PSone Classics release of Final Fantasy IX today and an announcement has come. Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada has officially made the announcement in a six-second clip posted on Twitter.

Pricing and release date will arrive through a more official announcement. Hopefully the gap between the Japanese and western release won’t be too big.

Awesome, now Europe just has to wait a very long time for it, but still as long as it has been announced we’ll get it sooner or later. Final Fantasy IX was my second favourite game in the franchise, Final Fantasy VII will always be No1 to me.
When Square Enix finally decide to start working on the Final Fantasy VII remake, i’m sure alot of fans will get extremely hyped, and i will be 1 of them.
Can’t wait to replay the amazing story of Zidane and Garnet (Dagger) once again.
