Epic Games has released details on the launch event to be held on April 15 celebrating the launch of their new Japan studio.
The celebration happens in Tokyo, Japan’s Akiba Hall on the fifth floor of the FUJISoft Akihabara Building. Doors open at 16:30 (4:30pm) and the event runs from 17:00 to 18:00 (5:00 to 6:00pm). A reception will be held afterward from 18:00 to 20:00 (6:00 to 8:00pm).
The formation of the new Tokyo studio was first announced in late March.
Epic has provided a full agenda for the event, where developers such as Tim Sweeney, Goichi Suda, and Cliff Bleszinski (in video form) will take the stage.
