Sony sequel to be revealed on GTTV this week
The promotion clip for this week’s episode of GameTrailers TV has gone live and as expected, Sony is revealing a new game. Not just any new game, though, but a sequel.
“After Uncharted 2, God of War III, and Heavy Rain, PlayStation is on fire, but what’s next? Tune in to see the world premier trailer for a surprise Sony sequel.”
That could mean almost anything. Syphon Filter 5? Dark Cloud 3? Resistance 3? Killzone 3?
Honestly. I hope it’s not another shooter. We don’t that much right now.
Also in the episode is the first footage of Mass Effect 2‘s Hammerhead vehicle in action, new details on Transformers: War for Cybertron and a brand new Mafia II trailer.

Probably Resistance 3 since it’s at least been hinted at although I think Insomniac should take at least another year and work on some things that might break new ground.
Obviously doing another massive multi-player component isn’t going to cut it now after MAG.
It’s probably R3, I agree.
As much as I’d welcome it, I’d really it rather be an RPG, though. =\
