SCE Santa Monica, the studio that’s bringing you God of War III this Monday, are already underway on two new projects – both in pre-production.
“We’re jumping right back in,” SCEA Director of Product Development John Hight told MTV Multiplayer at GDC, “I’ve got a small concept team working on the next product for us.
“We’re actually gonna do something different this time, we’re gonna have a kind of short-term concept, something like: a game that we hope to turn out.”
Hight explained that there’s a breakdown of the teams at the studio.
“We have a much more longer term concept team going. So we have two teams going on at once. One with a long range: here’s what we’re going to do years down the road. Then another one: here’s what we’re going to do for the very next project.”
Whatever Santa Monica’s working on next, I’m sure it’ll be great. Although, let them breathe a little first.
