PlayStation Network goes back online, older PS3s magically fixed
by [@salromano] at 06:46 PM EDT, March 1, 2010 .

The internet is reporting that the PlayStation Network is back up and running. Yesterday night, the service went down. SCEA’s only provided one update since then, but now it seems all is well.

Those with the older, fatter PlayStation 3s should see the changes enact on their consoles now. The clock should fix, you should be able to reconnect to PlayStation Network, and any trophies that you may have thought you lost should be back.

Some users are reporting they’re still missing some trophies — which others have stated to start up the game, allow it to recreate trophy data, then sync with the server and you should regain your trophies.

Sony Computer Entertainment should be sending out official word soon, if my assumptions are correct.

I’m so glad this is fixed without serious problems. People were really starting to worry.
