New White Knight Chronicles II screens and info

New details and screenshots on Level 5’s upcoming White Knight Chronicles II have been released tonight.

A glimpse at the sequel’s new companion character Ling is shown in the new shots. The fifteen year-old girl is the granddaughter of the late Grand Duke of Durham.

We also meet General Sukadain of Fauria. His age is unknown, but he wears a ninja-knight-like suit with a mask covering his face.

Concept art of the city of Fauria (at least, that’s what I believe it’s called) has also been released.

Another note to mention is the fact that the combat system has evolved dramatically. The battle gauges are now faster and the ability to dash and charge has been added, as well. Weapon-specific skills are in order, too, allowing the player to assign roles to each character – such as attacker, a shield, a supporter.
