ModNation Racers brings back split-screen
An experience that seems to have washed away this generation is that of split-screen multiplayer. Most games nowadays don’t even implement the feature due to a high demand in online gaming. Though, nothing beats that experience – sitting on your couch, playing with friends.
United Front Games understands that, and are implementing not only twelve-player online, but up to four-player split-screen multiplayer in PS3′s upcoming customizable kart racer, ModNation Racers.
If that’s not enough, you and a friend can go online and race together, taking full opportunity of two-player split-screen.

I thought this game was going to support up to 4 player split screen…?
It does.
The beta was laggy as hell and hopefully they sort that out before launch.
I also hope they let you pull the camera back a bit because I find it too close for my taste to enjoy it.
