Update: All fixed. A new title update’s been released patching the problems. Fire up the game, download it, and game on.
Original: Because nothing can ever be released stable, can it? The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Map Pack has been unleashed onto Xbox LIVE this morning but is causing players problems.
Various issues are being reported, including:
Multiplayer lobbies not working.
Images for maps not showing up.
No option to play private matches.
Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson has said that the Infinity Ward team is “already engaged and working on the MW2 Stimulus Pack Problem.”
“The Stimulus Package needs a Title Update and it didn’t go out properly. We’re pushing it out now – it won’t be long,” he followed up.
Don’t worry. You’ll have your Modern Warfare 2 fix soon.
You’d think for the price we’re paying for them they’d have it working when they released it! :|
