Here’s no surprise: BioWare is already well under way on development for Mass Effect 3. The series was announced as a trilogy, remember.
BioWare’s Christina Norman has said that she’s already working on something new for the game codenamed “Project Wombat”.
“ME3 Trivia: Today I started work on “Project Wombat” for Mass Effect 3,” Norman wrote in her Twitter feed.
I have no idea what this “Project Wombat” is and couldn’t even begin to speculate. Unfortunately, Norman’s not letting it out, either.
“Wow a lot of speculation on what Project Wombat is,” she wrote in a following update. “Sorry I can’t say! I can say the name has nothing to do with the project.”
Last month, EA said that there’s “something far-reaching coming from Mass Effect” in 2011. Mass Effect 3, possibly?
The Mass Effect saga is one of my all time favorites. Especially the Vangelis-esque score & the Blade Runner inspired art direction. I LOVE the lighting & lens flares. I hope ME continues somehow past the core trilogy…..
