LittleBigPlanet 2 in the works, supports PS Move
by [@salromano] at 02:51 PM EDT, March 23, 2010 .

Sony Computer Entertainment Benelux Marketing Manager Folkert Langeveld has revealed that LittleBigPlanet 2 is in development and will support the new PlayStation Move motion controller.

The fact that the game is in development was all that Langeveld revealed. Although, I cannot help but wonder if a sequel is really necessary. I’d love to see what else Media Molecule can do.

I always thought a game like LBP would live on without a sequel but if Rock Band and Guitar Hero can keep making sequels and basically offering the same core game experience over and over and over again I guess MM can release a sequel too.

Although I thought they already had Move support for LBP since they’ve been showing that off demo footage since last year.

  2. i preffer a game called Sack Tales in the Zelda style, PS doesn’t have any exclusive in that way, Xbox got Fable. The game could be in 3D with dungeons and for close doors you need to use stickers not keys and things like that. Sack its perfect for this type of game he is a silent hero, very charming.

Imagine this: you have to meet and old elder that lives in a tribe, and the tribe dont let foreigners enter to the village, then you need to diguise yourself (nothing new for sack) like one of them in ordet to cheat them and enter. Sack its a expert in the this kind of things, but you need the materials for the disguise not? Well then theose materials are in diferents areas, in those areas you meet others characters and need to accomplish more quest in orders to succes in the mission of the materials for the disguise.

Missions need to be full of comic situations, for example the disguise to enter in the village of the old elder, its just underpants in the head, a tshirt in the legs with a old photo of Rick Astley (aka Rick Roll).

Regardless of the Move, in a LBP2, I would hope to see a lot of new ideas in the game and a progression of it all around. It was a great game but next time could be even more so with improving. Lets not rehash it but make it better.
