Gran Turismo 5 for October, says Sony rep

Gran Turismo 5 is set to hit North America in October this year, if Italian gaming site 4News is to be believed.

The site says a Sony representative dropped the date at last week’s Game Developers Conference. He also mentioned 3D support is to ship with the game.

Until anything is confirmed, we’re labeling this a rumor. Either way, an official release date is coming “soon”.
