Final Fantasy XIV beta site updated with PS3 intel
by [@salromano] at 06:19 PM EDT, March 8, 2010 .

The official Final Fantasy XIV website has been updated with new information regarding a PlayStation 3 beta today. Looks like those who purchase Final Fantasy XIII tomorrow are going to be rewarded.

Over at the site, these new lines of information have been added to the beta application.

  • If you have received a FINAL FANTASY XIV promotional code for registering FINAL FANTASY XIII on the Square Enix Members site, please use it to apply for the beta test.
  • The promotional code will also be required to obtain the FINAL FANTASY XIV secret in-game item, so please hold on to your code until the game’s official release.
  • If you have already applied for the FINAL FANTASY XIV beta test but would like to apply for the PlayStation 3 beta with a FINAL FANTASY XIV promotional code, please be aware that all previous applications will be invalidated.

I know what I’m doing before I play my copy of Final Fantasy XIII tomorrow.

wait so how do you get the code? do they give it to you where you buy it? does it come WITH the game?

I’ve had it pre-ordered and it will be delivered tomorrow or wednesday so will that come with the promotional code?

What you’re supposed to do is register your copy of Final Fantasy XIII on the Square Enix Members site. After doing that, you get your promotional code.
