Final Fantasy XIII ships five million worldwide

Square Enix has announced today that they’ve shipped five million units of Final Fantasy XIII worldwide. These numbers include the launch in Japan last December, as well.

Three million of the five where shipped in both US and Europe alone, while two million were shipped in Japan.

This announcement follows the game’s launch for PS3 and Xbox 360 in the US and Europe yesterday.

    Let’s hope that every one of those 5 million copies is sold!

    I cant see why the game wont do really well though.

    Its fantastic and I cant wait till I get home from work so I can carry on playing it!
