Tonight at midnight, Square Enix lifts the online review embargo on the western edition of Final Fantasy XIII. Expect a flood of reviews. We’ll have one too, just not tomorrow. It’ll have to wait until after I actually have the game in my hands, which will be tomorrow if my local mom and pop shop doesn’t let me down.
GamesRadar, on the other hand, seemed to call first dibs on the online review. Either that or they just didn’t care about an embargo and put their review up regardless. Either way, they gave it a ten.
Radar says there’s “lots to explore on Pulse”, the game has the “prettiest console graphics OF ALL TIME”, and that the action of “focused” and “streamlined”. Although, they did say the game isn’t better than Final Fantasy X.
Final Fantasy XIII releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 9, 2010.
WOW…once again Final Fantasy X prevales
I’ll have to play the game myself to decide.
Although, Final Fantasy X does have a special place in my heart. It’s my second favorite in the series.
VII is my first, X follows after, and IX is in third.
FFX is also one of my favourites to be honest. It has an almost perfect style and is a wonderful story.
Cant wait for FFXIII, of course.
