Bethesda says Brink September 7 release date “speculative”
Over the weekend, Bethesda announced a giveaway sweepstakes in partnership with GameStop which listed a September 7, 2010 release date for the game. Bethesda has responded to this date today, claiming it’s purely “speculative”.
“Often times retailers will assign a release date for a game that falls within the game’s announced launch window,” a Bethesda rep told VG247.
“While we have announced that Brink is due out in fall 2010, we have yet to announce an official release date for the game. Until we have announced the release date, all other dates can be considered speculative.”
So no solid release date as of yet. That’s all dandy, I suppose. The game’s some time off from now, anyway.
