Square: Final Fantasy Versus XIII development “has really picked up” since Final Fantasy XIII

In an interview with Xbox-Mag (via Connected Consoles) regarding Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy XIII, they decide Yoshinori Kitase and Motomu Toriyama the status of the PlayStation 3 exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

They say that we will have to remain patient a bit longer for more information on the game. Although, “development for Final Fantasy Versus XIII has really picked up since we’ve finished Final Fantasy XIII, and many designers and graphic artists are again Project Final Fantasy Versus XIII.”

Sounds like everything is coming along splendidly.

    I actually want VERSUS slightly more than FF 13. I just want to see some in-engine footage/screens please….
