Leona Lewis invites you to Final Fantasy XIII launch party next month
by [@salromano] at 01:59 PM EDT, February 12, 2010 .

Final Fantasy XIII is less than a month away so Square Enix wants to celebrate the game’s release with a launch party in San Francisco.

The publisher will hold two events, one during the day and the other during the evening.

The daytime event will be divided into two sessions of two hours, where attendees can play the game, view artwork of the title in a gallery, watch trailers and meet the development team. Raffle prizes will be given away, as well.

The nighttime event, or the Final Fantasy XIII launch party, is for a select few. Industry professionals like game director Motomu Toriyama will be in attendance.

In order to earn your chance at attending the launch party, you’ll need to be a Square Enix Member. All details can be found at the link. But before that, let Ms. Leona Lewis, singer of the game’s theme song “My Hands”, cordially invite you.

Great video. I would never have guessed SE would use Leona Lewis as the singer or indeed have her creating promotional material like this. Still, even though I know very little about her; anything to do with FFXII is great to me! (The song is actually growing on me too but I did love the japanese theme instantly)

@TezChi Agreed, this song is growing on me too, i actually really like it now, people should stop complaining. Leona Lewis is a great singer, and a pretty woman to boot.
