Final Fantasy XIII slightly worse on Xbox 360
by [@salromano] at 09:27 AM EDT, February 16, 2010 .

UK-based online gaming publication NowGamer has received the final code of Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360. After beating the PlayStation 3 game, their team decided to look into the differences between the two.

They pointed out that the Xbox 360 version of the game is faced with lower resolution textures causing characters’ clothing to lack as much detail the PlayStation 3 version offers.

Some objects and enemies in the environment appear to be less detailed, as well, both in texture and geometry.

Finally, they stress the game’s CG as “extremely compressed” compared to the PlayStation 3 version comparing it to the “stunning HD” blu-ray offers.

Believe it or not, this isn’t surprising. I think we could of all seen this coming. Could this have been the reason for Square Enix’s recent bullshots?

Final Fantasy is not for Xbox 360. I hope Square Enix don’t make a habbit of doing this multiplatform thing again.
