Fable III dev diary shows gameplay

Screenshots obviously aren’t enough for the hardcore gamer, so take this Fable III developer diary alongside them.
Molyneux’s third in the series removes the heads up display to completely clean the screen and replaces the health bar with dynamic health. He’s turning the series into more of an action/adventure game rather than an RPG.
The game also boasts a dynamic touch feature. Let Molyneux tell you more about it — or read our previous stories.

Interesting! It’s going to be great playing as a King instead of the usual character I think, if it’s as deep as Molyneux is letting on.
As for the streamlining of the RPG elements, I would obviously prefer tonnes of RPG ‘things’ but at the same time, if the game plays well as an action/adventure game then I’m all for it. Fable II was light on stats etc and still played fine imo.
The footage looks good too, I have always loved the series’ artstyle.
