2K Games has announced that Borderlands third piece of downloadable content, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, will launch tomorrow on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace ad on February 25 on PlayStation Network and PC.
The new add-on will go for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points and include a load of new content. 2K is boasting it as twice the size of the recent Zombie Island of Dr. Ned add-on. The pack will include a brand new class of weapons, new vehicles, nearly thirty new villain types, a level cap increase to 61 and more difficult villains and smarter AI. Top that off with “an exciting story line” that starts where Borderlands left off.
Xbox 360 owners can download it tomorrow. PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait till the Thursday update. Check out some new screens at the gallery.
