The new year has only just begun, yet Final Fantasy creator and Mistwalker CEO Hironobu Sakaguchi is already back to work on their upcoming title. It’s been teased many times and it looks like it won’t stop until it’s revealed this Spring. Sakaguchi has, however, given us some insight into how deep development on the game really is.

“Today is what we call, “the first work day of the New Year”.” Sakaguchi wrote in a January 2nd blog update. “I still have unsettled adjustment on the last dungeon dialogue and the directions of the ending scene. I didn’t think I had that much adjustments, however this being the last dungeon, my requests has become slightly excessive.”

He’s already working on the “last dungeon”. It looks like the game’s release may not be too far from the actual announcement.
