Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya has said that he doesn’t “see anything wrong” with a sequel to Bayonetta.

“We obviously have love for the work we have created,” Kamiya told Game Informer, “so I don’t see anything wrong with Bayonetta 2. Personally, I’d like to approach the world of Bayonetta from a different angle, in the form of a spin-off.”

A spin-off? Perhaps play Bayonetta’s life five-hundred years ago? Maybe play as Jeanne instead?

Cool, I loved Bayonetta. Could have been made abit better for the PS3 but still it was a very fun game. Bayonetta 2 will be most welcome.

Oh yeah Bayonetta is a fantastic game, so it’s only natural that I would love to see a sequel or spin off of any kind.

I think playing as Jeanne would be interesting; I like the character and it would be interesting to see more of the history between her and Bayonetta.

That’s what I was thinking, a prequel set in the ancient era… that would be cool. Or a spin-off based on Rodin’s story (my favorite character) & how he became a fallen angel. Something brand new from Team Little Angels would be equally amazing, since no other developer even compares (except for Kojima Pro & Team ICO).

A sequel is truly welcome. As long as it’s programmed well, it’ll be awesome. :D

How about playing as Bayonetta’s mother? :O

Interesting idea. They barley made mention of her in the game. I wonder what she’s like.
