In Atlus’ latest newsletter sent out to e-mail subscribers, the publisher has confirmed a “Pure White Tendency” event for Demon’s Souls starting on the winter solstice, or December 21st. This is the event that SCEA’s Twitter teased last week.

According to the memo, “the game will be much easier, as your enemies will do less damage to you and take more when you hit them.” Also, “new areas and special NPCs will also be open; you’ll just need to know where to look for them. Many players find Pure White tendency hard to achieve, which makes this a great opportunity.”

There’s no word on how long the Tendency will last. Those still playing may want to jump at the opportunity to kill a few demons as fast as possible.
