EA has announced that Madden NFL Arcade will release sooner than previously thought. Instead of launching in December, Madden NFL Arcade will launch on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade on Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25, respectively. The game follows the same route of NHL Arcade 3 on 3, releasing a day earlier on the PlayStation Network.

Madden NFL Arcade is an unrealistic recreation of the Madden games, adding more cartoony aspects rather than realism. The field is smaller, there are no first downs, just four tries, various power-ups to be obtained and more. It’s more of a pick-up-and-play then retail Madden games. The game will go for $14.99 come its launch day.
