It finally happened. Just as inevitable as the PlayStation 3 120GB model was is the today announced 250GB model. Keeping in tact with the new slim look the 120GB model received, the 250GB model will sell for $349.99 ($50 more) and launch in North America on November 3rd.

New PlayStation 3 owners may want to consider this bigger size. Especially considering game installs and whatever movies, music and photos you need to store on your system.
Wow! Great price. I have a friend who’s growing interest in the PS3 may lead to a purchase. There’s no doubt I’ll recommend he spend the extra $50 for double the space. I might even consider selling my PS3 so I can afford to get this SKU.
Ok this is bullshit…Why is Sony doing this? They just released the 120GB…I hate when they do that…all of this mean noting to me because I got the 80GB which is one of the best models PS3′s out…but I mean this is unfair…Most people would of just waited for this 250GB if it was just only 50$ more….
But with that in mine…My 80GB barely has 10GB….and I hardly have any Digital content on it
Check your Game Data and I bet it’s filled with game installs. If you have MGS4, RE5 and SFIV they combine for probably 10GB or more not to mention if you still have demos on there. Doesn’t take much.
Other than the slim form factor you can upgrade your drive for a lot less than buying a new PS3. You can get a 320GB drive (7200rpm) for $70 bucks from NewEgg.com.
