BioWare’s opened up the Arsenal section of the Mass Effect 2 website giving us a detailed look at some of the weaponry we’ll be using come the game’s release in early 2010. As of now, only one weapon has been profiled, being the Avenger Assault Rifle featuring 850 rounds per minute.

According to the site, the Avenger Assault Rifle is effective in almost any battle condition and is a “workhorse weapon with low recoil and high accuracy.” Synthetics shouldn’t be a problem either, as the weapon’s “flexible ammunition load-out allows users to adapt firepower to any opponent-including synthetics”. Sounds convenient!
