inFAMOUS 2 confirmed by voice actor
Sucker Punch’s inFAMOUS received critical acclaim when it released earlier this year on PlayStation 3, being praised for it’s compelling, original plot and wicked fun gameplay. Sucker Punch has seen the enjoyment we’ve been getting out of the game and seem to be hard at work on an inFAMOUS 2, Dylan Cole’s voice actor has confirmed.
“First voiceover/motion capture audition today for a video game. Re-casting of Cole in the sequel of Infamous. “I’ll melt your face.” e.g” David Sullivan wrote in a Twitter status update.
While I would have preferred a new Sly game before we saw an inFAMOUS sequel, it is much welcomed. Now we await the official announcement.

I think Sucker Punch will go the way of Naughty Dog and dedicate themselves to a new franchise with the new system. Then again they could also decide to do what Insomniac is doing and work on two franchises and just take a year off between them.
But I would like to assume that because ND focused only on Uncharted they were able to make the best game possible because they didn’t have their hands in more than one pot. They could focus all of their blood, love, sweat and tears into U2 to make it the best possible game (which I just picked up today but probably won’t be able to play since my wife and daughters have commandeered the TV to watch High School Musical 3).
I have no idea whats the hype about with this game…I played it and sent it back the same day…to me it was really boring…I had more fun with Prototype…I could care less about inFamous 2
You’re definitely in the minority amongst those that think inFAMOUS was boring. It’s probably the first game in a long time that really promoted the concept of replaying the entire game for something other than finding all the stars or hidden treasures (sorry Drake).
Although I haven’t touched it in a few weeks (since buying Batman and now Uncharted 2) it’s in my (current) top 5 exclusive games for the PS3.
