Halo franchise planned out for “at least six years”

Frank O’ Connor, head of 343 Industries – a Microsoft group that handles all things Halo – has told USA Today that they have plans to keep the Halo franchise going until at least 2015.
“We do have a plan that goes out at least six years,” he said.
“Eventually, it will become very apparent that there is a plan for the way the canon all ties together and the way the comic books and the novels all tie together.”
There’s already games out and games still on the way, an anime on the way, a portal channel for Xbox LIVE and tons of action figures.
Smart, considering Halo is Microsoft’s flagship franchise.
