Three former Bungie staff members have announced the formation of a new studio today, one that is “dedicated to exploring the uncharted spaces of high-quality downloadable games.” They are Moonshot Games.

Michel Bastien, production lead for Halo 2 and Halo 3, Damian Isla, and mission designer for the Halo series, Rob Strokes are heading the new company.

They’ve not announced their first game yet, but they did leave a little message. ” The details of Moonshot’s first mission will remain top secret until the craft makes moonfall. However, all the necessary research, planning, and prototyping are already well underway. Stand by for mission updates.”
