DeeJay revealed for Super Street Fighter IV
DeeJay, Street Fighter‘s “Southern Comet” and musical kickboxer from Jamaica, is making his current-gen debut in Super Street Fighter IV, Capcom’s revealed tonight. He joins T. Hawk and Juri as three of the eight new characters that will be making their way to Street Fighter IV in Spring 2010′s Super rendition.
Capcom’s released some screenshots of him as well. See him captured in freeze-frame at the gallery.

Sad part is that they showed they had him and T Hawk in the works for SF4, but they decided not to add as dlc and instead make them into a new game….
As I understand it they added a lot under the hood of the game. So much so that the current game wasn’t built to handle the new content.
I don’t buy it but maybe all that extra content was just too much to put into a DLC package and felt it was best to just ship it onto a disc. Maybe they went to MS and/or Sony to propose a 7GB DLC and one or both of them turned them down.
Who knows. Chances are I’ll probably just hold onto my SFIV unless they release this at $29.99. Otherwise they can have it.
